2. Use of the Website

By accessing and using our online store, you agree to these Terms & Conditions insofar as they apply to your use of the website. Placing an order requires you to review and accept the applicable purchasing terms during checkout.

We reserve the right to update the website and these Terms & Conditions. Orders remain subject to the terms presented and accepted at the time of purchase, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws.

3. Products and Handmade Craftsmanship

All Aelia Greek Sandals products are handmade. Minor variations in texture, color shades or material details may occur due to the nature of handmade production and differences in screen color reproduction.

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product photographs, descriptions and available options accurately represent our products. Any material difference from the agreed product specifications will be addressed in accordance with applicable consumer rights.

4. Sizing and Custom Orders

We provide sizing guidance and, for selected products, customization options such as colors, materials, heel heights and adjustments based on individual measurements.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and measurements when requesting personalized products. We are available by email to assist with sizing or customization questions before purchase.

Products made to a customer’s individual specifications or clearly personalized may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal, in accordance with applicable law. The fact that a standard product is handmade or produced after an order is placed does not, by itself, remove the statutory right of withdrawal.

5. Prices and Payment Methods

Product prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website and include applicable taxes where required. Shipping charges and any additional fees calculated by our store are presented before the order is completed.

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may include Viva.com, PayPal and bank transfer. Cash on delivery is not available.

For shipments outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or additional clearance fees may apply depending on the destination country and shipping arrangements. Where such charges are not included in the purchase price or prepaid by our store, they may be payable by the recipient. Any legally required information about these charges will be provided before purchase.

6. Orders and Product Availability

After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming the order details. If any issue arises concerning material availability, incorrect product information or our ability to fulfill an order, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate solution.

If we are unable to fulfill an order that has already been paid for, you will be informed and the applicable amounts will be refunded in accordance with the law.

7. Production and Shipping

Most of our products are handmade to order. The usual production time is approximately 3–7 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product page or during checkout.

Delivery times depend on the destination and shipping provider. Detailed information about shipping, estimated delivery times and related conditions is available on our Shipping & Returns page. Estimated delivery times do not limit your statutory rights in the event of delayed delivery.

8. Exchanges, Returns and Right of Withdrawal

For purchases covered by the statutory right of withdrawal, consumers may withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without having to provide a reason, subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.

For size exchanges, our store’s exchange policy applies as described on our Shipping & Returns page. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs in cases of change of mind where permitted by law and where they have been properly informed.

For defective products or goods that do not conform to the sales contract, consumers retain their statutory rights regardless of our commercial exchange or return policy.

9. Customer Accounts

Customers may create a personal account to manage their details and view previous orders. Account holders are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and should notify us of any suspected unauthorized use of their accounts.

Product photographs, texts, designs, logos and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, where the relevant requirements for protection are met. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use is not permitted.
